My Vision for Our Community Schools
Our schools need to welcome, encourage, and challenge all students, their families and our staff. When we create a safe environment where everyone is able to think, question, explore and make mistakes, then learning can occur.
About
My campaign for school board is a continuation of my life’s work and passion for education and community. I have served as a public educator for 38 years holding a range of positions from classroom teacher to an administrator of federal programs. Additionally, I have raised four children that attended public schools in the state, including Papillion La Vista Community Schools. Through my experience I have gained an understanding of the perspective brought by stakeholders in our schools.
