I am a life long educator having held roles as a classroom teacher, principal, and administrator. I moved to Papillion in 2005 when I became the Principal at La Vista West Elementary School. After 16 years as an administrator in Papillion LaVista Community School District, 12 at LVW and 4 as the district Administrator of Federal Programs, I retired in 2021. In my retirement I enjoy spending time with my four adult children and their families that all live in the area. I also enjoy reading, traveling, and volunteering in the community.

Why I Am Running

In November 2023, I joined the Papillion La Vista Community Schools Board of Education, filling a seat that became vacant after a resignation.  I am seeking reelection to the PLCS board to continue to support the district mission to “prepare all students to realize their unique aspirations”. I have dedicated my professional life to public education and as a retired educator I feel that I still have much to contribute to our school district. Along with my 38 years of educational experience, I also bring a passion for teaching and learning and a commitment to all students, families and staff members of the Papillion LaVista Community School District.
